the ranting&raving of a teenage pizza artist.

okay, so basically, one of my jobs is at papa murphy's.
there's a big sign outside that says "Papa Murphy's Take n Bake Pizza". all of the logos in our store say the same thing.
so don't get pissed at us when we don't bake your pizza. yes, at least twice a week we have someone demand their money back when we hand them an unbaked pizza.
and don't call asking if we deliver as if it's a valid question. if we don't bake your pizza, WHY THE FXCK WOULD WE DELIVER IT?
people with food stamp cards? don't get me started. spending your last $60 on pizza probably isn't the best choice. if you're gonna live off our tax dollars, go buy some fxckin groceries for your kids.
and then there's the parents who so blatantly don't give a damn about childhood obesity. if your kids are already hella overweight, why are you getting them a 5 meat stuffed pizza every week?

OMG people and their goddamn coupons.
arguing with us over a dollar off makes you look stupid. and if your coupon says it's for a large pepperoni pizza, don't call asking if you can use it for a large vegetarian.
oh! okay, so delites are our thin crust and they only come in a large. so when we say no, you can't get a family size combination on thin crust, please don't ask if we can make a family size vegetarian on thin crust. that's hella irritating.

so now i'm going to clock in at papa murphy's. i'm going to plaster a smile on my face, use a sugar coated phone voice, and attempt to play nice with society for four hours.

i broke up with kool rick. and dated a chunk of muscle.
i quit one of my jobs.
i stopped going to school.

i try to give everyone a chance. everyone. so when kool rick approached me and asked me to come to a party he was performing at, i was hesitant but i still said yes. he looked like the type of guy i was trying to get away from as i made my transformation from high school to college student. i don't like going to performances without at least hearing the music first, so i went to his myspace page and listened to "maui". it immediately caught my attention. i don't usually like local artists but kool rick pulled me into his world and i didn't want to let go. that night, we stayed up til the wee hours of the morning, AIMing each other. i realized there was way more to him than meets the eye. but what meets the eye is still pleasing. don't you just love good looking guys? rick's got more swag than me[which is damn near impossible =)].i took my friend ashley along to the party he was performing at. i danced with him and a few other guys who turned out to be his cousins and friends. two months later, i'm GMFB's [kool rick and his cousins, friends, etc] official photographer and kool rick's girlfriend. it's been an emotional rollercoaster but through it all, one thing remains true.........i'll support these guys until they say they're ready to quit the game.
i'm thinking you definitely need to lend them your ear.

i've decided to write a book. i know exactly what it'll be about. but i'd rather not give it away.......stealing ideas is rampant these days. all i'll say is, it's nonfiction and guaranteed to be on the new york times best seller list. hopefully.

so i've just started reading the best nonfiction book i've ever read[besides Killing Pablo by Mark Bowden].
it's called Slut!: Growing Up Female With a Bad Reputation by Leora Tanenbaum
i swear, everyone should read this book, men and women alike. you'll learn more things than you ever knew about the female race, especially high school and college age females. as a female, i could relate to this book.......it felt like Tanenbaum had read my thoughts and put them on paper. scaryyyyyy.
anywho, read the book.
